The scenery surrounding the inn was breathtaking, especially during

the morning fog over the lake, making for beautiful views while enjoying breakfast. However, the lack of modern amenities might be off-putting for some. I appreciated the charm of the place, but a few improvements could enhance the experience.

The lake views were stunning, especially while relaxing on the porch. I even enjoyed a cigar with scotch, lovely! Fishing was a blast, and I spotted whitetail bucks at dawn.

Lovely breakfast with lake views

I stayed in the King Room with Lake View for 2 nights. The room had an old-school charm, beautifully decorated and super comfy. The private bathroom felt freshly updated, and the views of the lake were stunning, especially while sipping morning coffee. I really appreciated the unique character of the room. However, it lacked some modern amenities that could've made it even better.

Charming and peaceful, the lake view from the King Room was a highlight, especially during sunrise. The onsite restaurant impressed with delicious dinner and breakfast options, including pho. However, the overall property could benefit from a touch-up, as some areas felt dated and lacked modern amenities. Additionally, parking arrangements seem a bit disorganized, which could use some improvement.

The property has an old-school charm with a large lobby reminiscent of classic New England inns, complete with a library-like atmosphere. A game room adds fun options for downtime, while the bar/restaurant serves up decent meals for those looking to refuel after a long day.

The bedding left much to be desired. it had hair on it and was overall unclean. The mattress sagged, and the curtains were coated in dust, indicating that a deep clean is overdue. Additionally, the shower pressure alternated between freezing and scalding, making for a frustrating experience. Breakfast service was sluggish, with a long wait for simple food items.

A commendable fit for a short-term stay in Starlight with very good value for money. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful, really starting our day off right. Make sure to bring a flashlight for late-night walks to your room.

Had an amazing time enjoying the pork schnitzel for dinner and a delicious bagel with lox for breakfast—it sets you up for the day! The sun terrace is perfect for unwinding, and the live music really adds to the charm at night. Just a heads up, the parking could use some smoothing out, but overall it was a great experience! 🎶
